Club Penguin stuff

Two months ago, I pondered the thought of Club Penguin having an in-game radio station, run over the internet, for other players to listen to. At that time, I really thought it would be impossible, but then, I came to my coding senses, and really, it actually became quite simple, really!

Since I really want this to be added, I will make this moderator friendly, and based on what I know what the Club Penguin developers do for their different jobs on the game, this is mostly for rsnail.

The Concept

Somewhere in the gift shop, there will be a headphone set, and it will be featured that it will play Club Penguin's new feature, the radio. It will cost 300 coins, be available to both mebers and non-members, and in your inventory, you click on it to wear it, and in the top left of your screen, there will be a radio tower. You'd click on that, and alas, and animation will come out of your antenna showing radio waves to show others that you are listening to the radio!

The radio window will open like this. When you click on the radio tower, there will be another screen that asks an assortment of which media player you want the radio to play out of. (windows media, real one, etc.) and it will open a new window where you will be listening to live radio, that will play all around for 24/7. Don't drop out here either. I will tell you how you can make it so it's possible to run it that long.

Hiring Staff

You might have been scare that I said 24/7 because not everyone up there in kelowna can stay up, and wake up early in the night, andconsume everyone's time there. That's why it would be good to hire people from different time zones to handle the radio 3 or 4 hours a day.

You could hire one person from the mountain time zone. One from the Eastern US -4 GMT time zone. One from England, one from Asia, and one from Australia. They would only have to work 3 or 4 hours a day, and no one has to stay awake for long periods of time.

Increasing Listeners

Perhaps to increase people to listen to the radio, you can hold contests to win coins, items, or super special awesome, radio custom items. It would work like this. The radio DJ says he's hosting a contest, and he opens the button on the radio tower that says "enter radio contest". You click the button, and it enters it for you. Then a program selects one penguin at random, and he puts the item in the penguin's inventory.

I hope this suggestion id doable. I really planned this one out, and it seems pretty simple once you get down to how it works.

Amazing Idea Biggalo! This was very well thought out, and very nice thought! I will DEFINETLY take this into consideration. Also I like the staff idea but we would probably need about 3-4 people from each time zone, people cannot always stay on that long but great idea!

:shock: That made me bounce off the walls! I do hope the other moderators like the idea. I also found a sort of free internet radio station website if you guys can't make one by yourself.

But yes! Your message was the equivilent to me drinking 5 gallons of turbo coffee with extra sugar! :D

Wow....... Biggalo WILL BE FAMOUS! I think that the first 5 supportes should get all the items that will be given out. I WAS THE FIRST :D. but no seriously, make a list of supportes. You said it picks up radio waves from real radios, but then you were talking about windows meadia player??

I need some help, I read it like 3 times and dont get how this is possible.
